WHERE IT'S LOCATED
The first Northwest community on our list, West Hillhurst is located just north and west of Calgary’s downtown core. It is bound in the south by Memorial Drive and the Bow River, and the community flanks both the east and west sides of Crowchild Trail.
How to get there
West Hillhurst can be accessed via Crowchild Trail and, from downtown, via Memorial Drive.

The vibrant neighbourhood of Kensington is a short distance away on foot, and the proximity to the Bow River makes the community popular with cyclists and runners – many of whom bike or walk the short distance to downtown for work. The neighbourhood is just down the hill from the University of Calgary and SAIT, McMahon Stadium, and the Jubilee Auditorium.
